Why Become a Green School?
Our world is changing. Every day we face new and intensifying environmental crises, and it is up to us to figure out how to fix them. But we all know it's the next generation who will face the brunt of our world's environmental challenges, and they must be prepared to tackle them, head-on. For many students, their first experiences in "becoming green" start at school. By joining MAEOE's Green Schools program, schools encourage their students to transform into the next generation of environmental stewards through sustainable practices and celebrating good works in the environment. Not to mention-the experiences students get and the fun they have doing their Green School projects are something they will never forget!
